MEET THE INTERPRETIVE RANGERS

Renee Doran:
Hello! My name is Renee Doran and this summer I will be working at Bear Brook State Park as well as some state parks along the seacoast! I’m originally from Corvallis, Oregon. I came to the SCA NH Corps to enhance my skills as an interpretive ranger/naturalist. I am excited to teach you about the history of the Civilian Conservation Corps at Bear Brook State Park, the nature around camp, critters that can be found in our ponds, and to share stories around a campfire. I look forward to seeing you at Bear Brook State Park and the Seacoast this summer.

Tracy Lyons:
Hello! My name is Tracy and this summer I will be working at Greenfield and Monadnock State Parks! I’m originally from Ohio. I came to the SCA NH Corps to enhance my skills as an interpretive ranger/naturalist. I am excited to teach you about plants and wildlife and their ecology. I look forward to seeing you at Greenfield State Park and Monadnock State Park this summer!

Greta Ketchner:
Hello, my name is Greta Ketchner and this summer I will be working at Monadnock State Park! I’m originally from Shavertown, Pennsylvania. I came to the SCA NH Corps to enhance my skills as an interpretive ranger/naturalist. I am excited to teach you about safe-hiking, glaciers, local plants and wildlife, and Leave No Trace principles. I look forward to seeing you on the mountain at Monadnock State Park this summer!

Kaitlyn Gilligan:
Hello! My name is Kaitlyn Gilligan and this summer I will be working at Franconia Notch State Park. I'm originally from Massachusetts. I came to the SCA NH Corps to enhance my skills as an interpretive ranger/naturalist. I am excited to teach you about the local wildlife and plant ecology. I look forward to seeing you at Franconia Notch State Park this summer!

Kayla Drake:
Hello! My name is Kayla Drake and this summer I will be working at Umbagog Lake State Park!
I’m originally from Florida, though I have lived in many places. I came to the SCA NH Corps to enhance my skills as an interpretive ranger/naturalist. I am excited to teach you about wildlife and nature. I look forward to seeing you at Umbagog Lake State Park this summer!

Krystal Daniele:
Hello! My name is Krystal Daniele and this summer I will be working at Crawford Notch and Echo Lake State Parks! I’m originally from Luzerne County, Pennsylvania. I came to the SCA NH Corps to enhance my skills as an interpretive ranger/naturalist. I am excited to teach you about native trees and plants. I look forward to seeing you at Crawford Notch and Echo Lake State Park this summer!

Emily Veh:
Hello! My name is Emily Veh and this summer I will be working at Franconia Notch State Park! I’m originally from California. I came to the SCA NH Corps to enhance my skills as an interpretive ranger/naturalist. I am excited to teach you about wildlife, the alpine zone, and how Franconia Notch was formed. I look forward to seeing you at Franconia Notch State Park this summer!

Matt Galvin:
Hi! My name is Matt Galvin, and this summer I will be working at Pawtuckaway State Park as well as some State Parks in the seacoast area! I’m from Portland, Maine, and came to SCA New Hampshire to improve my interpretive skills as I have envied people who know a lot about nature for a long time. I look forward to discuss trees, animals, rocks, and anything else we find outside with hopefully you! Come visit me at Pawtuckaway State Park and the Seacoast this summer!
